It's an August full of concerts in Romania – and most of them cater to the taste of rock music lovers and send them out of the capital city. Four rock festivals and the Iron Maiden concert can be the perfect getaway in Romania this month.
Peninsula Festival, which will take place for three days starting August 26 at Targu Mures, will include as many as 70 bands or singers playing in the festival's concerts (see list of all bands below). The event will also include movie screenings and other events organized by non-governmental institutions.
The world-wide famous TED conferences and speeches have expanded to Romania under the TEDx independently organized events umbrella. The Bucharest Museum in Universitate Square will host the second edition of the Health Living Fair, which will start tomorrow and will end on Sunday, August 1st. The museum's yard will be the exhibition and sales area for Romanian traditional products, Bio products from Italy, France, Spain, as well as Italian traditional food products.
