Local authorities in Romanian city of Vaslui to buy new street cleaning equipment with Republic of Moldova partner town
The local authorities of the North – Eastern Romanian town of Vaslui will buy street cleaning equipment with a contract worth EUR 1.5 million, covered from EU funds and part of a partnership with the city of Cahul in the Republic of Moldova.
The city hall in Vaslui will buy street vacuum cleaners, containers and waste compactors, while the Cahul authorities will buy an excavator, a waste compactor and a sweeping equipment also a mini excavator from Germany.
The project would last for a year and each city hall will buy the equipment individually. EU funding will cover 90 percent of the EUR 1.5 million investment program.
