Local insurer Destine Broker has launched in Romania the Cigna international health insurance.

It addresses Romanians who work abroad and expats who live in Romania, said Adrian Goran, head of the Life Insurance Division within Destine Broker.

The Cigna health insurance has three levels, based on the insured amount. The Silver level, covering USD 1 million, the Gold level, which covers USD 2 million and the Platinum level for USD 3 million.

The three options provide insurance for hospitalization, for cancer, or expenses for evacuation, recovery and repatriation.

Destine Broker is part of Destine Holding, a Romanian-owned company.
