Logistics company GEFCO Romania, the local subsidiary of GEFCO Group, ended 2013 with a turnover of some EUR 48 million, up 12 percent year-on-year, consolidating its position on the market.

The growth in sales came from all GEFCO activities, the highest increases being registered in road transport and warehousing activities.

Last year, GEFCO Romania operated over 23,000 trucks, according to the company.

The company inaugurated two locations in the country last year, a road transport operational agency in Craiova and an A-class logistics center in Arad. Currently, GEFCO is present in seven locations in Romania and employs 104 people.

GEFCO Romania also intends to keep the same growth pace this year.
