How long does it take to install solar panels in Romania?

16 June 2016

Romania is the last in Europe for the time needed to get the permits to install a photovoltaic system, according to the Association Solar Decathlon Bucuresti.

The association wants to get the waiting time reduced from 450 days to maximum 100 days, which is the waiting times in countries such as Poland, reports local Economica.net.

Romania doesn’t have clear laws for producing and injecting energy into the network for small individual producers, according to the group. For example, in Ploiesti it was necessary to obtain a permit from the traffic police in order to install a photovoltaic system.
