A total of 59.18 percent of final year high-school students passed the Baccalaureate exam organized in Romania last week. This figure is with 3 percentage points higher compared to last year. Data was 99 percent centralized.

For those who passed the exam, most of the grades were between 8 and 8.99. Of the total of 161,682 registered students, 150,682 were present at the exam, and 11,000 were absent. Some other 270 students were removed from the exam rooms for fraud or fraud attempt.

The final results will be made public on July 11.
