Madalina Suceveanu, first woman within France Telecom to manage technology department

Orange Romania has announced that the network manager, Madalina Suceveanu, has replaced Thierre Souche as chief technology officer, which makes her the only woman from the France Telecom – Orange Group who has a top management job in the technology department.

Suceaveanu joined Orange Romania in 1997 as an expert in network planning. Over the years she was responsible for projects like introducing new technologies in the Orange network or introducing and developing the first services of fixed data at Orange, and also training young engineers.  Women currently represent almost 30 percent in the Executive Committee structure while in the middle management the percent rises up to 57.
