Managers of Romanian state companies to file declarations of intent
The candidates for management positions in state-owned companies will need to submit declarations of intent, according to a draft project of the Government.
Future managers need to express their ideas on the company’s development in these letters.
The declarations of intent will be part of the final evaluation of the candidates selected on the short list.
The new draft project also introduces the expectations letters, where the public authority expresses its expectations and demands for the new managers.
Until now, only 35 out of 180 state-owned companies have selected professional corporate managers. The Government plans to increase their number in the future.
