Matt Damon, Christoph Waltz, Tilda Swinton to shoot movie in Romania
American actor Matt Damon (in picture) will come to Bucharest to shoot the movie "The Zero Theorem", which will be produced at the MediaPro Studios in Romania at the end of October. Damon told website vulture.com that he will have a small part in the movie, which is directed by Terry Gilliam, a film maker for whom Damon “would do anything”.
Damon will not be the only Hollywood actor to come to Romania for this film, which stars Christoph Waltz and Tilda Swinton, who will also come to Bucharest for the filming.
Pre-production in Romania has already started and shooting at Mediapro Studios is scheduled to begin on October 22nd.
Matt Damon won the Oscar in 1997 together with his best friend, the actor Ben Affleck, for the script of "Good Will Hunting". Damon also starred in the 'Ocean's' series and in the 'Jason Bourne' series, as well as in The Inside Job and 'The Departed.'
Cristoph Waltz is well known for his most recent film 'Inglorious Basterds', where he played Colonel Hans Landa. Scottish actress Tilda Swinton is known for her roles in 'Narnia', 'We need to talk about Kevin', 'Burn after reading', and 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button'.
