Mazars Romania promotes Swiss executive as Country Managing Partner

Swiss Dino Ebneter will take over the Country Managing Partner position of Mazars Romania starting August 31, 2016.

René Schöb, who is also a Swiss citizen, will leave the company after two years at the helm of Mazars Romania. He took over as Country Managing Partner on September 1, 2014, replacing Jean-Pierre Vigroux.

“René Schöb decided to pursue his career outside of Mazars and therefore will step back from his position and hand over his responsibilities by 31 August 2016. Dino Ebneter has been a key member of the Mazars Romania’s management team, as Partner and Head of the Accounting & Payroll Advisory business line, since September 2013,” according to a press release by Mazars.

As Country Managing Partner of Mazars Romania, Dino Ebneter will work together with Vasile Andrian, Head of the Audit and Advisory practice and Edwin Warmerdam, Head of the Tax practice.

Dino has over 17 years of professional experience in accounting and Business Process Outsourcing, of which 11 years as a tax and accounting advisor in Romania. Before joining Mazars, he co-founded the professional services firm Adevaris, which merged with Mazars in 2013. Since 2013, he is the Head of Accounting & Payroll Advisory business line of Mazars Romania, as well as member of Mazars’ Global Accounting Committee and Mazars’ Global Risk & Quality Board.

Mazars has become number five in the local audit, tax, and financial advisory market and consolidated this position in the last three years. The company has 150 employees.
