McDonald’s Romania earned last year a record profit of EUR 10 million, three times higher than in 2014 when the company posted a net profit of EUR 3.7 million.

The turnover grew by 17% year-on-year reaching EUR 115 million, up from EUR 98 million in 2014, reports local Profit.ro.

At the beginning of the year, the US group McDonald's announced that it had sold the franchise of the Romanian restaurants to the Maltese company Premier Capital, in a EUR 60 million transaction. McDonald's has 67 restaurants in Romania.
