McDonald's Romania to keep home deliveries within Victoriei office area
McDonald's Romania will continue home deliveries but only within the office area in Victoriei Square, according to Wall-Street.ro. With the delivery service launched in December 2012, orders can be made via phone and the minimum delivery order will be of RON 17.
“We're not interested in increasing revenues, but in increasing the benefits for our regular clients in Victoriei area. […] For the time being, we will stick to this area. If the project shows results, we will expand it,” said Daniel Boaje, director of McDonald's Romania, quoted by Wall-Street.ro.
The fast food operator runs a unit within America House office building in Victoriei square, where it is now competing against Subway, which opened a shop across the street last year. More about the deliveries at McDonald's here.
McDonald's runs 60 restaurants in Romania in 21 cities, served by 3,500 employees, and has a turnover over EUR 100 million.
