Medicover inaugurates new hospital in Bucharest
Swedish private medical services provider Medicover inaugurated a new state-of-the-art nine-storey hospital in Bucharest, resulted from the conversion of a former office building in the northern part of the city, in the Pipera area.
The building has a total area of over 22,000 square meters, of which the medical space is 15,000 square meters. It is going to be Medicover’s most modern hospital in Romania.
The first hospital opened by Medicover in Bucharest was the Medicover Hospital in the Aviatiei district, which will now be reconfigured in the Maternity Ward.
The Medicover network also includes the Pelican Hospital in Oradea, Medicover Hospital Cluj, and Phoenix Hospital in Craiova.
Medicover Romania has thus reached a total of over 700 beds put in the service of the health of its patients.
