Mega Image makes the first steps for its online store in Romania
The Dutch-Belgian retailer Mega Image began building the team for its future online store.
The company has started recruiting people for different positions, reports local Economica.net.
The online store will open in the second part of the year and will operate in parallel with the Mega Image supermarket on the eMag Marketplace platform.
Mega Image has entered the online in 2014, via a partnership with eMag, the largest online retailer in Romania. It started selling online about 7,500 products. Their delivery is made by courier, but customers can also pick up the products from certain stores.
The Belgian retailer will now build its own online store, separate from MarketPlace. The retailer explained that it can’t be missing from a market that is still small, but has potential.
