Metro launches smaller store concept, Metro Punct
German retailer Metro Cash & Carry is opening a new type of store in Romania, under the Metro Punct brand, the company has announced. This new brand is dedicated to re-sellers. The first such store will be opened tomorrow in Satu Mare. The 2,000 sqm store format will offer 3,000 food and non-food products, which will be sold based on a Metro card, as with the rest of Metro Cash & Carry's stores.
