Michele Meoni leaves helm of Continental Hotels Romania
Michele Meoni, the chief operating officer of the hotel group Continental Hotels in Romania will be leaving the company, according to its representatives, quoted by Ziarul Financiar. Meoni has been running the hotel group since 2007.
Meoni has been working in the hospitality industry since 1980, having worked as hospitality manager, food and beverage manager, director of operations and general manager for various hotels. The 47-year old specialist comes from Italy and is also the head of SKAL Romania, an organization which includes various operators in the hospitality industry.
Continental runs hotels in Romania totaling 1,000 rooms. Its turnover last year stood at EUR 22.4 million.
