Michelin moves Jerome Mouillet from Budapest to lead Floresti tire factory in Romania
Jerome Mouillet, 42, is the new director of the Michelin tire factory in Floresti, Romania, according to the company. He replaces Carmen Petcu, which will take another job in the Michelin Group. From his new position, Jerome Mouillet will coordinate the activity of the Michelin tires factory in Floresti, namely the production of tires for passenger cars. Before taking the director seat of the Michelin tires factory in Floresti, Mouillet led he Michelin factory in Budapest, Hungary, between 2009 and 2011.
Jerome Mouillet started his activity in the Michelin Group almost 16 years ago, at the Michelin's headquarters in Clermont Ferrand, France. In 2003, when the group acquired Viborg, he took over the management of the industrial site in Germany, to coordinate the company's activities in Germany, Netherlands and Denmark.
The tires factory in Floresti, Romania, was acquired by Michelin Group in 2001. Michelin has three factories in Romania, two in Zalau and one in Floresti. The group was established in 1889 and currently is present in 170 countries.
