Mission Dance party with Telepopmusik, Parov Stelar, John Digweed in Bucharest

02 March 2011

This year’s first edition of the Mission Dance weekend starts with a promising line-up and raises the bar for the other three editions to come. The show will take place on March 12, at the “Roman Arenas” (Arenele Romane) starting 22,00 hours.

The opening act will be held by Parov Stelar band, on his second time in Romania. Follow up to the electro-jazz-swing act is John Digweed , an icon in the progressive-house techno scenery with a background of dj-ing the deejays. John Digweed (in picture) has become the people’s choice while maintaining his longstanding presence in underground dance culture.

The last name on the list and among the most awaited ones, back in Romania after three years, is Telepopmusik with its subdued electronica landscape. The show will be completed with a warm-up party with Bogdan, one of the Mango agency’s artists, with visuals by Vali Chincisan, and an after-party featuring special guest Guy J.

Tickets are on sale for RON 45, pre-sale on bilete.ro here, RON 70 at the entrance or RON 100 for V.I.P. Seats, available at (+40) 722 399 228. Listen to a Telepopmusik song below, along with a John Digweed one.

Telepopmusik is a French electronic music trio, composed of Fabrice Dumont, Stephan Haeri, and Christophe Hetier. John Digweed is an English DJ and record producer.  Parov Stelar aka Marcus Füreder is a musician who lives and works in Linz, Austria. He performs with his Band - the Parov Stelar Band - and as a DJ worldwide.
