About 80% of the total leased office space in Bucharest last year was in the north and central - north part of the city, where the highest number of real estate projects was also delivered.

Companies may also be interested in the central-west area in 2015 and 2016, according to real estate consultant Esop, reports local Wall-street.ro.

Almost 60% of the office spaces traded last year were in central-north Bucharest and 17% in the north of the city.

The transaction volume in Bucharest, including relocations, pre-leases, expansions and renegotiations increased last year from 291,588 sqm to 308,353 sqm.

The favorite office buildings in 2014 were Skytower, in north-central Bucharest, with 11 contracts closed in 2014, and Hermes Business Campus, with 10 new tenants.
