Municipality spends EUR 1.31 mln on Bucharest’s Days
The events organized to celebrate 555 years since the establishment of Romania’s capital Bucharest have cost the municipality some EUR 1.31 million, according to Mediafax.
More than EUR 400,000 was spent on the 3D projections show on the façade of the Parliament’s Palace while EUR 266,000 was spent on the concert. Both events took place last weekend in the Constitutiei square. The municipality also spent EUR 87,000 on fireworks.
Bucharest’s Days were organized between September 19 and 21 by ArCuB and Creart, two institutions managed by the municipality. Several event took place in George Enescu square, in Cismigiu park, in the Old Town and in the Gabroveni Inn, which was also officially opened.
