Mystery film Inferno starring Tom Hanks opens Romania’s Dracula Film Festival

Inferno, the 2016 American mystery thriller film directed by Ron Howard, and starring Tom Hanks, will open this year’s edition of Dracula Film Festival. The event will take place in Brasov between October 12 and October 16.

Inferno is the sequel to The Da Vinci Code and Angel & Demons. Its story is based on the 2013 novel with the same name written by famous American author Dan Brown.

The film will be screened in Romanian cinemas starting October 14.

For five days, Dracula Film Festival gives movie fans the chance to see the newest and most appreciated horror and fantasy movies. The festival has four sections this year, namely the feature film competition, international short film competition, Romanian short film competition, and Dracula Digital competition.

Several films will also be screened outside the competition sections, such as Therapy (France, 2016), Under The Shadow (Iran, 2016), and Metropolis, reports local Hotnews.ro.

Movie screenings will take place at Sica Alexandrescu Theater, Patria Cinema, One Cinema, and Reduta Cultural Center.
