Netherlands to provide technical assistance to Romania

13 July 2016

Netherlands will provide technical assistance to Romania on prioritizing public investment, debt management, and analysis of public spending.

The Romanian Finance Minister Anca Dragu and the Dutch Finance Minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem signed a memorandum yesterday.

"The support provided by the Dutch government will lead to an acceleration of the Ministry of Finance’s priority projects and will streamline the institution's activities in key areas,” said Dragu.

The program involves exchange of documents, consulting visits of the two countries’ experts, taking part in seminar and conferences in both countries. The project doesn’t involve financial efforts from the Romanian Ministry of Finance.
