New adventure park ready for opening at the Cantacuzino Castle in Romania
Those who plan a trip to Romania’s Busteni mountain resort will have more reasons to go there starting May 28: the new adventure park at the Cantacuzino Castle.
The new 1.5-hectare park, called Adventure @the CastlePark, will await tourists with around 20 workshops, including 10 for children, about one km of zip-line, and many other activities such as archery and airsoft gun sessions.
“From the moment we opened the Cantacuzino Castle to the public, we planed to develop a series of activities and attractions for our visitors so that they have more opportunities for recreation and, why not, fun. Therefore, we designed an adventure park in the castle’s courtyard, a park that also fits in the mountain scenery,” said Kurt Neuschitzer, CEO Zamora Estate, the company that owns the castle.
The park’s official opening is scheduled for May 28, 11:00. Prices start at RON 20 (EUR 4.5) and include professional equipment and assistance from the technical staff.
The Cantacuzino Castle in Busteni is one of the main tourist attractions in the Prahova Valley, alongside the Peles Castle in Sinaia. The castle in Busteni was built between 1901 and 1911 by Prince Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino. It was opened to the public in 2010, and has hosted several large exhibitions and events since then.
