New center for early intervention in autism opens in Romania’s capital
A new center for early intervention in autism opens on Wednesday, April 2, in Romania’s capital.
The District 3 City Hall and District 3 General Directorate for Social Assistance and Child Protection, together with the HelpAutism Association, inaugurate on April 2 the new Casa Soarelui center, located on Marin Pazon street in Bucharest.
In this new center, 22 children diagnosed with autism will receive free care services on a daily basis.
April 2 also marks the World Autism Awareness Day. On this day, the Government and Parliament buildings, and the Romanian Athenaeum will be lit in blue between 21:00 and mid night. Other events are organized in Bucharest and across the country.
