New Consumer Protection phone number and mandatory data sheet for Romanian companies
The Consumer Protection in Romania will change its phone number from January 6, 2013. The change comes together with an updated info sheet for all companies working with the public, which they have to display for their customers. The sheet has to include the new phone number: 021/9551, as well as the phone, fax numbers and email addresses of regional consumer protection offices, and the website of the Consumer Protection authority - www.anpc.gov.ro. Consumers can submit complaints to the Consumer Protection office anytime they buy products which are not up to standards or whenever they are not satisfied with the quality of services offered by companies active in Romania.
