New EU co-financed website to promote Romania's Fagaras mountains is up and running
The Fagaras mountains now have their own website, a new online platform that provides lots of useful information for tourists, as well as fascinating insights into the geology, nature and culture of the Tara Fagarasului region. The site has details about hiking trails, ski slopes, areas for fishing, horse riding and hunting, along with photos and an online audio guide. The website has three language options, Romanian, English and German.
The i-audio guide includes descriptions of the area's trails, cultural highlights, as well as churches and religious sites. Like the site, the audio guide is available in Romanian, English and German and can be downloaded in MP3 format. Check out the Fagaras mountains site - www.tarafagarasuluiromania.ro.
The project cost RON 54,000 (EUR 11,920) and was co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, the Regional Operational Program, approved for Regional Center of Sustainable Development and Tourism Promotion of Tara Fagarasului. The company Dual Promo created the site.
