The company Bihor Industrial Parks, subordinated to the Bihor County Council, has started developing a science and technology park on an area of about 5 hectares, located near the University of Oradea.

The project’s cost is estimated at about EUR 10 million, reports local Ziarul Financiar.

The Bihor MedTech Scientific and Technological Park is an entity without juridical personality. It is based on the joint venture of the Bihor County Council, the University of Oradea and the company Bihor Industrial Parks, and will be completed in the next two years.

The Bihor County Council owns a land of over 48,000 sqm, located near the University of Oradea, where a multifunctional building (Bihor MedTech Innovation & Business Center) with a surface of 7,000 sqm of modern office space will be built. The building will host a conference center for 500 people (Bihor MedTech Conference Center).

The investment in the construction of the building amounts to EUR 5.6 million. The feasibility study could be completed in the next three months.
