A EUR 19 million multifunctional sports hall will be built in the town of Sfantu Gheorghe, with work scheduled to begin next week, according to the city mayor Antal Arpad, quoted by Mediafax.

The sports hall would have a capacity of 3,000 seats, and will also include exterior sports courts. The hall will be easily turned into a hockey field, as well as host handball, basket and futsal matches. The hall will be built at the city exit towards Miercurea Ciuc.
