New hub for creative industries opens in Bucharest
A new co-working space has opened in downtown Bucharest, with an investment of EUR 140,000, reports local Startupcafe.ro.
Tag Hub was initiated by the Freelancers’ Association, in partnership with the international hub network Talent Garden, and with the support of Telekom Romania and Banca Transilvania.
It is located in the Universitate area, at the ground floor of the historical building The Universe Palace (Palatul Universului), on Brezoianu street. It covers 700 sqm and has a capacity of 65 places, a meeting room and an event room.
Davide Dattoli, CEO of the Talent Garden international network, said that Eastern Europe has a strong inclination towards innovation. He explained that Romania has over 1.6 million freelancers, of whom 230,000 are IT experts. Almost half of them are below 35-year old.
The Talent Garden network includes over 1,500 entrepreneurs in 18 campuses.
