New IMF review mission comes to Romania on October 20

A new International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission which will review Romania's economic performances will come to Bucharest on October 20 and stay until the beginning of November, according to Mihai Tanasescu, Romania's representative to the IMF, quoted by Agerpres.

The mission could also include talks about Romania's future precautionary agreement with the IMF. The fund has recently said that Romania's future loan will most likely stay below EUR 13 billion.

Romania cashed in EUR 11.2 billion from the IMF so far, out of a total of EUR 13 billion. The country also received EUR 3.5 billion from the European Commission, out of a total pledge of EUR 5 billion.
