The new Park Inn by Radisson hotel officially opened in Bucharest after a EUR 6 million investments. The hotel, which has 210 rooms and apartments, is located next to the Radisson blu hotel on Calea Victoriei.

Both hotels are owned by local company Bucuresti Turism, part of Israeli group Elbit Imaging, and are managed by the Carlson Rezidor group. Bert Fol runs both hotels as general manager.

The new Park Inn features a lobby lounge and bar, a restaurant, four conference rooms and 80 parking places.

It targets business travelers and tourists, as well as longer term clients who may also travel with their families. The apartments have living rooms and fully equipped kitchenettes.

The hotel offers free WiFi internet and free access to the gym and pool operated by World Class Health Academy.

Its restaurant, which is called Sharkia, serves east-Mediterranean and international cuisine.
