The new Austrian general director of Tarom, Heinrich Vystoupil disagrees with the provisions of his contract with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. Vystoupil and the other newly chosen private sector managers for state owned airline Tarom are due to sign their contracts today (October 29 ), according to Romanian media.

Reports suggest that if Vystoupil won’t sign the contract, he will be dismissed from Tarom's Administration Council. The Administration Council will propose replacements for anyone who doesn't sign a contract by the deadline on October 30.

Earlier in October, Dumitru Prunariu, Dan Pascariu, Lucian Isar and Marius Ganes were named as new members of Tarom’s Administration Council and Heinrich Vystioupil as general director.

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure asked PwC, D&B David Baias-George Butunoiu to recruit senior management for companies under the authority of the Ministry with a turnover of less than EUR 7.3 million

Tarom is the first company under the Ministry of Transport that has announced the new management, selected after an extensive recruitment process, and followed by Maritime Ports Administration and Administration of Navigable Canals. The last two companies have entered into the selection procedures of administrators, but haven’t yet named CEOs.
