New shopping mall ready for construction in Bucharest: Victoria City Center
Construction work will start in July on a new shopping mall in Bucharest, Victoria City Center in the Bucurestii Noi neighborhood, for which the construction permits were already issued.
The mall is developed by Canadian real estate investor Michael Topolinski via his company Benevo. The mall in the North – Western part of Bucharest, on the former industrial platform Textila Dacia, is 70 percent rented out, and should be opened in October 2015.
Victoria City Center will include a shopping center, and an office tower with 68,000 sqm of leasable area. Tenants include Cora, H&M, Hervis, C&A, Mango, Deichmann and Koton, as well as a Cine Grand cinema with 8 screens.
Topolinksi also owns the Aversa industrial site in the Eastern part of Bucharest, whose production was relocated, and where a real estate project is planned.
