New specialized business court to open in Bucharest next spring
A separate court that will deal with company registrations, the trade registry, disloyal competition and insolvency in Bucharest will be created in March next year.
The new court will help reduce the high number of cases currently open at Bucharest courts, according to a recent project launched for public debate by the Justice Ministry.
The exact areas that the new court will cover will be decided by January 15, and by March 1, the court should become functional. The project will be under public debate until December 6. Romanian Senators recently decided that all cases currently pending a decision will be moved administratively to the new court, once it becomes functional.
