New Yorker to open store in Unirea Shopping Center on Friday
Fashion retailer New Yorker will open its 990 sqm store in Unirea Shopping Center in Bucharest on Friday, November 5. The store will be located between the Zara store and the current KFC location on the Calarasi boulevard side of the Unirea Shopping Center.
This is the fourth New Yorker store in Bucharest. The German fashion retailer runs a network of stores in Romanian cities like Cluj – Napoca, Sibiu, Bacau, Focsani, Timisoara and Arad. The first unit in Romania was opened in 2007.
New Yorker is a German fashion retailer with stores in over 25 countries. Last year, the group posted a turnover of EUR 1.6 billion.
Unirea Shopping Center is owned by Romanian businessman Dan Adamescu. The center has been reshuffling its retail space and it has recently attracted the Bershka fashion retailer, which opened a store near the Zara flagship unit in the same shopping center.
