Nicolas Cage becomes grandfather to half-Romanian boy
Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage recently became a grandfather, after his son’s Romanian wife gave birth to a baby boy. The new Cage family member was named Lucian Augustus Coppola Cage, and is Weston and Danielle Cage’s first baby.
“Lucian is of Romanian descent, which is what I am,’ Danielle told the media. ‘And Augustus is taken from Weston’s grandfather.”
Danielle Cage (pictured below) is a screenwriter of Romanian origin, and has been married to Nicholas Cage’s eldest son Weston, 23, since November 2013. Nicholas Cage, 50, also has an 8-year old son, Kal-El, with his current wife, Alice Kim.
Weston Cage is also an actor, and has played in movies such as Lord of War, Drive Angry and Raven. He has had a troubled youth; he dеѕсribеd himѕеlf аѕ ‘four drinks short оf death’, wаѕ arrested аnd jailed twiсе fоr domestic violence аnd аlѕо went intо rehab аftеr publicly attacking hiѕ trainer, according to dailyentertainmentnews.com.
Nicolas Cage, whose career spans over 30 years, has played in 40 films, including Leaving Las Vegas in 1995, and Ghost Rider - Spirit of Vengeance, which was filmed in Romania in 2010.
Cage came to Romania earlier this year to shot the movie The Dying of the Light, filmed in Bucharest at Castel Film studios.
