Nine days of theater with Fest on Lipscani in Bucharest’s Old Town
The second half of September takes theater aficionados to the Old Town in Bucharest, where the Fest on Lipscani festival will take place between September 12 and 21. It is the first time the festival takes place, and this year the festival celebrates 40 years of activity for famous Romanian comedy actor Horatiu Malaele.
The festival will include 10 theater performances and two movie screenings, and awaits 5,000 viewers.
All theater plays will take place daily either from 20:00, or from 21:30 on some days at the Lipscani Theater, on the street by the same name in the Old Town.
Tickets for a single show are RON 30 (balcony), RON 50 or RON 60, depending on seating, while subscriptions for 4, 6 or 8 shows are RON 200, RON 300 and RON 400, respectively. The full schedule is here (shows are in Romanian, and so is the website).
