Nobel prize winner writer Herta Muller in Romania this week
Romanian-born writer Herta Muller, winner of the Nobel Prize for Litterature in 2009, will be in Romania on Monday and Tuesday, September 27 and 28, where she was invited by the Humanitas Fiction publishing house and by the Goethe Institute.
She will attend an event on Monday evening at the Romanian Atheneum, where she will hold a public reading session together with Gabriel Liiceanu, Romanian writer and general manager of the Humanitas Group.
Herta Muller will also attend the local launch of two of her novels on Tuesday, at the Humanitas Kretzulescu book store. She will also attend an autograph session at the end of the launch.
Muller has also scheduled a meeting with the Romanian media at the Intercontinental Hotel.
