The first edition of the Nordic Film Festival will take place in Bucharest between December 14 and December 17.

The festival celebrates the culture and cinema of Nordic countries with four days of film screenings at the Elvire Popesco cinema. It will present the Bucharest public with the work of filmmakers in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.

The selection includes ten feature films, four documentaries and a compilation of short films.

The first day of the festival will see the screening of the 2015 documentary Brothers and of the dark comedy With Your Permission.
