Bucharest festival puts the spotlight on Nordic films

The Nordic Film Festival, an event dedicated to the cinema of the Nordic countries, takes place in Bucharest between February 15 and February 18.

The event will screen the work of filmmakers in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, awarded at festivals such as the Berlinale, the Toronto International Film Festival, Sundance or San Sebastian.

The Bucharest public will have the opportunity to see a total of 10 feature films, four documentaries and a selection of shorts.

Among the screened productions are the Finish comedy The Other Side of Hope, which received the Silver Bear for Best Director at the 2017 Berlinale and the 2012 Swedish drama Call Girl, which received the Audience Award at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The screenings take place at the Elvire Popesco cinema. The tickets and the program are available at eventbook.ro.
