The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued two warnings of snow and strong wind, with both of them being available until Tuesday afternoon, November 28.

An orange alert of snow covers the mountain areas of Brasov, Covasna, Vrancea, Buzau, Prahova, Dambovita and Arges counties, being valid between Monday, 20:00 and Tuesday, 16:00. ANM forecasts consistent snow in these areas, and also warn that the wind will blow with up to 70 km per hour.

Meanwhile, the Southern and Eastern Carpathians, Southern and Eastern Transylvania and Western Moldova will be under a yellow alert of snow and strong winds between Monday, 16:00 and Tuesday, 18:00.

A yellow alert of rain is also in place until Tuesday, 16:00, targeting Muntenia, Eastern Oltenia and Southern Moldova regions. The rainfall is expected to reach 50 liters per sqm in some areas. Moreover, in the counties of Vrancea, Buzau, Braila Ialomita, Calarasi and Ilfov the wind will intensify temporarily at speeds of 55 - 65 km per hour.
