Number of real estate transactions in Romania up 15% in first 11 months
The number of real estate deals in Romania went up 15 percent year-on-year in the first 11 months of 2013, to over 746,000, according to the data provided by the National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration (ANCPI).
Over 73,200 transactions were recorded at a national level in November this year, with 1,554 less than the previous month, but with over 8,000 deals more than in November 2012.
In November, the most real estate deals were recorded in Bucharest - almost 5,000 transactions, followed by Timis and Ilfov, while the fewest transactions were registered in Teleorman, Bistrita-Nasaud and Covasna counties.
Between January-November, Bucharest recorded the most real estate deals (over 53,300), again followed by Timis (44,889) and Ilfov with over 38,300 transactions.
