Telecom operator Orange hope to launch the new iPhone 4S in Romania before year-end and is currently under negotiations with Apple, according to Jean-Francois Fallacher, executive director of Orange Romania, quoted by Mediafax newswire. More information should be revealed in November, according to Fallacher.

Apple launched its newest product, the iPhone 4S, on October 4. It has a dual A4 chip, an 8-megapixel camera, and runs on iOS 5. When it launched the new iPhone, Apple said it would be available in stores from October 14 at prices starting with USD 199. The company already sold four million units in the first week after launch. In addition, more than 25 million customers are already using iOS 5, according to Apple.

iPhone 4S will be available on October 28 in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
