Telecom operator Orange Romania and local insurer Groupama Asigurari have recently launched a partnership to offer complementary home insurance and monitoring services.

Customers who choose both the Groupama home insurance policies and the monitoring services will get extra benefits, according to Orange. For example, clients who have a Groupama house insurance policy will get an Orange Smart Home subscription for free for two months. Also, those who have or activate an Orange Smart Home subscription will receive discounts on Groupama's home insurance with extra coverage.

Orange Romania posted a turnover of EUR 235.5 million in the first three months of the year, up by 6.5% compared to the same period of last year. The number of its mobile service customers dropped by 168,000, to little over 10 million.
