Orange Romania’s revenues up 3.2% in third quarter of 2013
Telecom operator Orange Romania recorded revenues of EUR 241 million in the third quarter of 2013, a year-on-year increase of 3.2 percent, while the number of customers also went up to slightly more than 10.3 million.
In the first nine months of the year, the company’s revenues in Romania increased 0.7 percent, to EUR 690 million.
Orange Romania’s number of customers increased by 183,000 between June and September.
However, compared to the end of last year, the company only has 100,000 more customers, shows the group’s financial data.
Orange’s Annualized Average Revenue per User (ARPU) was EUR 77 in Q3 2013, compared to EUR 79 in final quarter of 2012 and EUR 82 in Q1 2012.
Orange Romania is one of the three main players on the Romanian mobile market, along with Vodafone Romania and Cosmote.
Orange finished 2012 with total revenues of some EUR 913 million in Romania.
