Traffic will be closed down on Orhideelor St. for works at the Basarab passage, until September 15. The road section closed down starts from the Carrefour Orhideea retail center and goes until the intersection with Constantin Ghercu street.

The area is further blocked by a traffic shutdown on Dinicu Golescu boulevard, between Fluviului street and Orhideelor street near Basarab railway station. This segment will be closed down until October 14. An alternative route for this section is Fluviului street- Calea Plevnei- Gara Basarab.

The Basarab flyover is 80 percent finished and could be finalized in eight-nine months, according to previous statements. The flyover will connect Nicolae Titulescu boulevard to Soseaua Orhideelor, Grozavesti bridge and Vasile Milea boulevard and Grozavesti street to ease some of the car traffic burden in the area.
