More than two million Romanians have entered a casino at least once, and over one million Romanians often gamble, according to Sorin Constantinescu, President of the Romanian Casino Association, reports local Wall-street.ro. He is also CEO of Gaming Consulting, a company that provides consultancy for gambling companies.

About 0.5 mln to 0.8 mln Romanians spend their time in a casino while 0.4 mln gamble online, 100,000 of whom very often, said Constantinescu.

Roulette is the most popular game in casinos, unlike Western countries where people play BlackJack or other card games more often.
