Works of art totaling over 100 kilos of precious metal will be on sale at Artmark's Silver Works bid on May 15 and 16 in Bucharest, at the Athénée Palace Hilton Hotel.

Pieces on sale include two silver candlesticks worth some EUR 1,800 to EUR 2,500, a gold and silver beer pint pot, worth some EUR 4,000, as well as a pair of horseback knights statues in gold and silver, on sale between EUR 6,000 and EUR 8,000.

On the second day of the bid, Artmark will offer two German engagement cups made of silver, worth some EUR 5,000 to EUR 6,000, as well as silverware, jewelry boxes and musical boxes.

Around 80 percent of the items on sale are priced between EUR 70 and EUR 200.
