Over 2.67 million green certificates were traded in 2014 on the Centralized Green Certificates Market administered by the Romanian Power Exchange OPCOM.

The trading price per certificate was EUR 43.9 in January 2014, but went down to EUR 42.3 in February and to EUR 35.6 in March, according to data published on the OPCOM website, cited by local Economica.net. The price remained steady at EUR 29.1 from April until the end of the year.

The trading value of green certificates was between a minimum of EUR 27 and a maximum of EUR 55 euro per certificate for the period 2008-2014.
