Over 200,000 tourists expected at the Romanian seaside this weekend

15 August 2014

More than 200,000 tourists are expected to go to the Romanian seaside this weekend, this being the busiest weekend of the season, reports local Mediafax.

Romania celebrates Saint Mary today, August 15, as well as the Navy Day (Ziua Marinei), this also being a day off for workers in the country. Thus, the fun already started at the seaside on Friday morning, when thousands of people attended the events celebrating the Navy Day. The celebrations will continue throughout the day, with concerts and other events being scheduled to take place in Romania’s seaside city Constanta.

Other concerts, music festivals and events will be organized at the Romanian seaside this weekend, such as Sunwaves Festival and Mix Music Evo 2014.
